The Preparatory Work of the Wire Straightening and Cutting Machine Before Processing the Reinforcing
Before the wire straightening and cutting machine process the reinforcing bar, it should be installed on flat and solid ground. First remove the rust, oil stains and other debris on the bar. The wire straightening and cutting machine should be handled strictly following the material table.
The material table should be marked with the type, shape, size and using position and quantity of the reinforcing bar according to the design and code requirements. When the materials are properly allocated and the machine processed following the using position, connecting type, connecting proportions, it should be handled in accordance with the principle of "long material long usage, short material short usage, long & short materials used in pairs", the complete reinforcing bar should not be cut off at will.
When bending the reinforcing bar, it should be done with mechanical cold bending method instead of gas welding bending method. When we install the load-bearing frame wire on the wire straightening and cutting machine, the center of the load-bearing chute should be aligned with the center line of the guiding cylinder, straightening cylinder, lower cutting hole or shearing gear groove, and keep it straight.
Before the wire straightening and cutting machine is processed, it should be used to align and get rid of the rust. When aligning, the cold drawn rate should be strictly controlled. A 180° hook is required at the end of the bar. When the hooping is processed, the curved portion needs to be ensured at 135°, the straight portion should be a length of 10d, and the hooping are parallel to each other. The positioning ladders, positioning fixtures, horse stools, etc. need to be processed and inspected in advance to ensure accurate dimensions.
After the wire straightening machine is installed, we need to run the empty machine to check whether the bearings, hammers, cutters or shearing gears are working properly. When it is confirmed that there is no abnormal condition, the material can be fed, and we could have a test for straightening and cutting off. It is necessary to check if the electrical circuit and components are damage, whether the connectors of the machine are reliable, and whether the transmission parts are flexible. The testing operation can only be carried out after all of these above confirmed. The well done semi-finished reinforcing bars shall be piled up within the specified area of the site, and shall be hanged with label indicating the type, size, using position and quantity of the reinforcing bars to prevent misuse when needed.
